Bodyneed is a New Zealand owned, city based clinic set up way back in 2001.
It started with just me – Karen Finlayson – an intrepid post graduate from the New Zealand College of Massage.
I had a dream to create a space for all massage therapists to flourish and be able to practice their skills in a mentored and supported environment.
I also wanted to spread the word about how brilliant massage can be – massage that made a difference to people's lives. (Including yours)
Bodyneed is about making sure clients, athletes, people, customers, the community feel great, feel fantastic or feel alive again - either now or later!
In early 2008 my husband Chris joined the company which allowed us to expand Bodyneed. We moved out of our comfort zone in Freemans Bay and up to the lofty heights of 27 Crummer Road, Ponsonby, Auckland.
All of our amazing therapists have several years of experience within the health industry, either as massage therapists or associated professionals.
All therapists must hold either a Diploma of Massage Therapy or a similar standard of bodywork qualification.
You can be assured that when you deal with Bodyneed you are dealing with real professionals with only your best results in mind!
What we are doing has ever been tried before in New Zealand, so be part of the new revolution that is bringing real massage to people like you and your friends.

Where we have 5 rooms, 10 therapists and a physiotherapist.
Bodyneed 2005 - the 3rd old home - 9d Vernon Street, Just Behind Victoria Park Market, Freemans Bay.
1st & 2nd floor of this 3 bedroom town house and the first time we actually had to employ more therapists!
