Bodyneed are proud to to announce that we are sending a team of four to take part in the Oxfam 100km Trailwalk event happening April 4th-5th 2009 near Lake Taupo.
"The Oxfam Trailwalker is the world greatest team challenge.....it's a challenging journey that will change lives forever....including yours!" Oxfam NZ.
This event is held annually near Taupo and wants to raise money for the less fortunate communities within the Pacific, Asia and African regions.
With the money raised we can help support communities to build sustainable livelihoods, provide education and healthcare and free them from persecution and violence!
Bodyneed have a team of four going to this event:
Karen Finlayson - Bodyneed Director
Judith Reutlinger - Bodyneed Therapist
Sarah Finlayson - Landscaper
Hannah Lucas - Teacher
The name of the team? BODYLICIOUS BODYNEEDERS
The team must finish the walk within 36 hours.
Going along with them is a support crew of six. The support crew will give them food, shelter, moral support and anything else that may be needed to get them to the finishing line.
This was a very worthy cause!
Please donate as little or as much as you can to help the girls reach their target.
