What should I wear to pilates?
Wear clothes that you are comfortable in during exercise.
Track pants, t-shirt, sports socks etc

Do I need to bring a mat or other equipment?
No we have everything here including mats, balls and rollers

What kind of music do you play during the class?
We have a music specialist that has tailor-made music for each class.
We have all of our music on an ipod that plays during the class through a quality stereo.

Are the classes big?
Unlike other places, we like to keep our classes small so you get maximum attention from our trainers.

What's the maximum you'll have in a class?
The maximum we can have in a class is up to 8.
It can be a real social event for many of our clients, which makes it very special.

Are the trainers qualified?
Absolutely - They have to be to be part of Bodyneed.
We demand that the trainers must meet the necessary qualifications to carry out the sessions.
Recently we have implemented a new grading system to our trainers and regular quality system control to ensure our high quality pilates stays intact.

I've never done pilates before should I join a class straight away?
To get the most out of pilates, we recommend that you get some 1 on 1 sessions first with us.
This way when you do join a class you will be at your best and know exacting what you are doing.

How will pilates help me?
As we get older we tend to lose strength in certain area's, known as core.
The core of your body keeps you upright, strong and steady.
Pilates concentrates on your core and gives it the boost that many people forget about. The benefits are really amazing.

Pilates is only for women?
No. Many men also do pilates including top sports teams like The All Blacks, The All Whites Football team, tri-athletes, surfers, teachers, skiers and everyday people who want to remain active and loving life.....the list goes on...

It's brilliant and well worth the effort!
